Job Responsibilities / Functions: Primary responsibility is to drive and manage the commercial process to control and improve the India teams contract quality, reducing risk from both commercial and technical aspects of the contract. Coordinate with sales team on the terms and conditions to be negotiated in contracts -Favoured Incoterms, Payment Terms etc. Clear and concise understanding of Ametek rules/UK rules surrounding revenue recognition and preferable terms and conditions. As advised by Sales Managers produce quotations and supporting documents in response to requests from the customers Order Management Ensure that all documentation required for order entry is complete, clear, appropriately generated and authorized on a right first time in at least 95% of cases (driving to 100%) Work with the Sales Order Administrator to follow up on order acknowledgements, Proforma Invoices, Shipment follow ups. Work with the concerned dept.to get the required work completed in timely and effective manner. Support in the preparation of Government tenders, customer registrations and approvals. Driving and manage the team to assist in the bidding process for sales Bidding certification and documentation quality control Manage to buy the correct bid documentation Manage to settle the bid guarantee deposit before the bidding and claim back after bidding Bidding documentation preparation manage support of the sales team Drive towards standard contracts, letter of credit and bank guarantee formats that are acceptable to buyer and seller.
Knowledge & Skills Must be well versed with Govt. Tenders , Contracts terms and conditions Able to demonstrate good numeracy and ability to construct complex costing sheets. To interact and communicate with stakeholders Required to time manage the expectations of internal departments, RSM and Customers. Ability to understand commercial terms and conditions and discuss with customers and BUs contacts Deal with customers and the factory and maintain continuing harmonious relationships. Ability to understand technical specifications and testing requirements. Should be able to understand technical terms and terminologies and be able to configure the systems for generating the quotations Computer fluent, with specific attention to e-mail and MS Office product skills; CRM tools. High energy level with ability to take initiative. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to interact effectively in English & local regional languages. Fluency in English interacting with UK Good interpersonal skills, Team player with collaborative style. Able to work under pressure, self-driven, energy and commitment. Qualification & Experiences Bachelors degree in Commerce or Engineering Minimum of 5+ years of experience in working in sales of high technological value product or service oriented to electronic industry.
